Funny story about this beautiful accent piece.  An artist teacher opened her own retail store in a strip mall, offered lessons & had art shows.  This artist had a show there, and she seemed fixated on these colors, as each piece (and there were many) had the same theme. Clearly, she had spent a lot of time & energy on this project, and and it didn’t meet anyone’s expectations.

She explained to us that she got an art grant to paint these landscapes, and hadn’t sold a SINGLE PIECE the whole show, and tonight was closing night, would we please JUST BUY SOMETHING?

Sure.  This is another example of the frame’s value exceeding the original inside, however, that’s for YOU do decide. Outside frame dimensions are 6″ x 8″, inside oil on board 5.5″ x 3.5″
