While I’ve always liked it, the research necessary to post it online reveals the artist, Alfred Kowalski refers to a collectible mid-20th-century European folk/naive art painter born in Sopron, Hungary, in 1926, who fled to Vienna during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. He is famous for charming oil paintings depicting seasonal village and farm life.
